Behind the Game: Avner knew he would not be able to bring the horse in with him

The STAP, as printed, clearly states that Thunderstrike is terrified of the shrine and will not enter. This became important in the previous game secession as her skittishness helped the disagreeing party to unite around the decision to rest for the night back at the ruins.

Nonetheless, the following week, the DM (me) forgot this story element and was prepared to send Thunderstrike into the shrine with the rest of the party. Luckily, the original DM for our group, Rob, was a guest star player for the evening. Knowing the STAP at least as well as I do, he diplomatically reminded me by asking, “Are you sure Avner would bring Thunderstrike in with them?”
